When will I receive my compensation?
Some cases last a couple of months and others take up to a year. We don't want our clients to wait too long and we want the client to be satisfied early as possible. Normal period are between 6 - 9 months, as this all depends on circumstances. Majority of time is spent in writing and replying to letters. We ensure we reply to all your correspondence as quickly as possible. Nevertheless the 3rd party, may take their time in replying. The best record we achieved so far was just under 4 months compared to the original 9 months.
Please note however if your injury is serious the time scale in relation to completion of your claim will exceed the above timescales due to the fact a number of expert reports maybe required to fully assess your claim insuring the correct compensation is recovered on your behalf.

I don't feel like putting in claim now, but will do later as I have 3 years?
We understand that you have 3 years for making a claim, but you could be paid much lower than what you are entitled to. What this mean is, if you claim now all your injuries, medicals and out of pocket expenses will be easily remembered and judged. A medical specialist will assessment your injuries that have occurred and the likely durations. Since they can make judgement accurately of your injuries duration and future effects, you will get a better report, thus a better payout.
Now if you claim later for instance 1 or 2 years post accident, your injuries would have passed on. You still will need to see a medical specialist, and you are not going to get a good result and most of your injuries have faded. As you would need evidence to show the effect of the injuries and that means regular visits to the GP as I'm sure you don't have time for that. That's why the earlier you make a claim, the better position you are for a good payout.
